Our second studio sits on Crow Arch Lane, and some of our most ambitious transformations are on Ringwood's wooded plots.
Ringwood is LUSO's second home, with our studio on Crow Arch Lane. The town and its surroundings, Avon Castle, Ashley Heath, Poulner, and the lanes towards the Forest, offer something increasingly rare: generous, mature plots where architecture has room to breathe.
Our Ringwood portfolio shows what those plots can carry. At Avon Avenue in Avon Castle we transformed a three-bedroom bungalow into a seven-bedroom luxury home with a pool and wellness suite. At Hurn Road we designed a contemporary new build defined by its expressed structural frame. Planning here sits mostly with New Forest District Council, with the national park authority involved on some fringes, and we know both well.

- Most of Ringwood falls under New Forest District Council, while some surrounding land sits within the New Forest National Park Authority's remit. The distinction matters for what is achievable, and we confirm it for your plot before design begins.
- Can a Ringwood bungalow really become a large family home?
- Avon Avenue answers that: a single-storey three-bedroom bungalow became a striking seven-bedroom home with gym, wellness suite, and pool. Plot size and precedent matter, and Ringwood has both in its favour.
