This project is a contemporary new-build home designed with a clean and simple approach, focusing on strong proportions, natural materials, and plenty of light

The design uses a clear structural frame, expressed externally to give the building its character and an inner frame for thermal purposes. This is combined with vertical timber cladding and darker elements to create contrast and a modern look without overcomplicating the design

Large areas of glazing have been introduced throughout to bring in natural light and connect the internal spaces with the surrounding garden. The slightly elevated structure also helps with privacy while maintaining open views.

Internally, the layout is centred around open-plan living, creating bright and spacious areas that work well for everyday use. At the same time, the design keeps a good balance between open spaces and more private areas within the home.

Overall, this project is about creating a well-designed, modern home that feels simple, functional, and comfortable, while still having a strong architectural identity.
